Coup in Corealta
Master blacksmith and arms merchant lord of Corealta.
Lord Sabelin d’Halion began as a simple blacksmith in Lorrow. Using tricks he learned from the gold dwarves of Gimrak, he became renowned among the frontiersmen and sellswords, and his monetary mind took him to great heights, eventually becoming a noble lord in Corealta. He facilitated all the trade agreements between Corealta and the dwarf cities of Gimrak and Karazgirn. When Gimrak fell, he lost much of his empire and many friends and began falling into depression. This affected his son Serjie, who ran away from home a few years into this depression. That was a wake-up call for Sabelin, who turned all his attentions to his infant son Armin. That was ten years ago. He pledged fealty to Lord Josef Bantoh of Istabarakk, but believed that he would bankrupt the realm as he did his own. So Sabelin bought out Ghalib Layth and all the freeriders under his banner, and invited Lord Bantoh to witness the return of his wayward son Serjie. Their plan went as expected, with Serjie slaying Lord Bantoh and Ghalib Layth becoming Lord Commander of the Corealta militia.
